We employ a team of contractors who offer a variety of workplace rehabilitation, return-to-work, and occupational health services. Our services include pre-employment assessments, vocational programs, safety solutions, psychological services, tailored health interventions, and training. Our unique staffing structure allows us to provide customised boutique-style services to both local and national clients. Our team members can also specify their work conditions.

About the role

We are currently seeking qualified allied health contractors, specifically occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, and physiotherapists, to join our team and provide services in Townsville and/or Cairns.

These positions are suitable for allied health contractors who run their own businesses and are seeking additional work in a different field or those who want to start their own flexible business. We provide administration support, online IT systems, mentoring, flexible workloads, and attractive incentives. Hourly remuneration rates will be negotiated based on experience. Assessment types will include worksite assessments, functional capacity evaluations, ergonomic assessments, report writing, activity of daily living assessments (for occupational therapists only), and initial needs assessments.

About you

We are currently seeking consultants who meet the following requirements:

• Registration with their relevant professional body (AHPRA or ESSA)
• At least two years of full-time clinical experience in a relevant discipline
• Ability to work as a sole trader or own P/L 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Minimum of one year of experience with an occupational rehab provider
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel to worksites
• Experience in Workcover QLD scheme or RTW services interstate or in other schemes 
• Experience in DVA return to work scheme
