Out of School Hours Educator - Permanent

Salary $71,000 plus Superannuation PLUS bonuses!

Our client, located on the beautiful coastal town of Speers Point, approximately 17 kilometres from Newcastle, NSW is seeking an experienced Out of School Hours Educator to join their professional and vibrant team! This is a permanent full-time position, working 7.6 hours per day (split shift during term time).

You will have the opportunity to:

• Plan & implement a range of engaging learning experiences that spark childrens curiosity and love of learning
• Support the Centre Manager in maintaining a hygienic & safe environment
• Promote positive behaviours and growth of children
• Engage in collaborative & professional discussions with your team
• Assist with food preparation
• Share your creativity & ideas
• Build positive relationships with children and families

Hours:

• School Terms: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 9:00am, 3:00pm - 6:00pm (7.6 hours)
• Holiday Program: Monday to Friday, flexible shift time (7.6 hours)

Criteria:

• Completed (or working towards) an ACECQA approved qualification
• Hold a valid Working With Children check (Employee) (mandatory)
• Police Check (issued within the last 6 months) (mandator
• Right to Work in Australia (mandatory)
• First Aid (desirable)
• Food Safety (desirable or willingness to obtain)
• Leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of the planning cycle, My Time, Our Place (MTOP), NSW Regulatory requirements
