POSITION PURPOSE
Reporting to the Membership & Ticketing Manager, this position is responsible for outbound sales calls converting engaged leads to members whilst delivering excellent customer service. This role is involved in providing insights on how we can improve the overall membership value proposition to meet member’s needs based on member feedback.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited by:
- In conjunction with the Membership & Ticketing Manager interrogate data in the CRM and create targeted outbound campaign lists and provide suggestions for tailored products to suit the target campaign list
- Exhaust the campaign list via outbound sales calls and ensure usage of the Call Campaign Manager
- Achieve daily and weekly call targets as agreed upon with Membership & Ticketing Manager
- Provide reporting to Membership & Ticketing Manager when requested and ensure CRM is correctly utilised
- In conjunction with the Membership & Ticketing Manager create compelling Interest and Acceptance statements for calls including workshopping potential customer objections and ensure usage of personalised member benefits to attempt to close the sale
- Selling consultatively to maximize all opportunities when dealing with members. Recognise the opportunity for cross selling memberships to other family members, and where possible attempt to upsell members into higher yielding categories in an effort to improve our revenue
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities, including the use of CRM software to maintain accurate records to maximize potential
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Capacity to work long hours over a sustained period of time unsupervised
- Strong understanding of member dynamics and service
- Ability to make outbound sales phone calls to prospective members
- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills with exceptional writing and editing skills
- Strong time management and effective organisational skills, lateral thinker, works well under pressure and achieves work deadlines in an environment of competing priorities
- Demonstrated administrative ability, showing accuracy, attention to detail, using discretion, and to work pro-actively.
- Self-motivated reliable and willing to work flexible hours
- Customer Service/Marketing experience.
- Database Management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
