The Student Journey Services portfolio embeds the Future Student Team, Outreach Team, Student Enquiry and Student Transition functions. Our aim is to ignite, educate, engage, enrol, assist and seamlessly transition both undergraduate and postgraduate students to study at Murdoch University. The Role

As the Outreach Officer you will lead the development and execution of captivating STEM outreach programs within WA Schools, communities and industries to raise awareness about our university's courses and foster relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting and deploying Student Ambassadors to assist in the delivery of outreach activities.

What you'll bring to this role

  • A Science or Technology degree with at least four years subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing and delivering learning activities, including the ability to write detailed session plans.
  • Organisational, time and workload management and skills.
  • Experience in developing, coordinating and managing successful events with young people from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Current C Class driver's licence.
