The role
A Melbourne-based design agency who pride themselves on having a refreshingly upfront approach are on the lookout for a talented Packaging Designer.
This role will see you transforming client dreams into captivating visuals through remarkable packaging design that aligns seamlessly with the vision of their Creative Director and Design Director.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Efficiently oversee and execute creative designs within specified briefs and allotted timeframes.
• Challenge the brief when it feels right. Your innovation and creativity will be welcomed within this role.
• Thoroughly research and understand the market in relation to the brief.
• Sketch out your ideas on paper and then convert them within Adobe Illustrator.
• Directing photo shoots, overseeing external talents such as illustrators and photographers, coordinating with account managers, and sourcing/purchasing necessary supplies and food for shoots.

About You
In order to be considered you will have the following qualifications, experience and skills.

• Degree in Graphic Design/Visual Arts.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a graphic design agency.
• High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In-Design, and Acrobat.
• Ability to freehand illustrate as well as methodical recording and documenting skills.
• Last but not least. Experience in FMCG packaging design is a plus, but not essential. Ultimately if your portfolio reflects an exceptional talent and you possess a willingness to learn you could be right for this role.
