ABOUT THE POSITION
Our business seeks an experienced and talented Packaging Technician to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will be work a family friendly equal time, rotating shift (sportsman) roster at our complex processing facility, located in Kwinana.
This position will involve the operation of the automated bagging plants, warehousing and dispatch of final bagged product produced at the refinery. This role will also involve training, developing safe works instruction, procedures for all activities involved within the automated bulk bag bagging plants, warehouse storage areas and logistics.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a flexible approach to work duties and an acceptance of job rotation throughout all production lines, warehousing, and logistics.

Essential skills and experience:
- Experience in the operation of automated bagging plants
- Start up and shutdown of plant and associated equipment
- Experienced in the operation of HMI control panels
- Fault finding of plant and equipment
- Sampling of final products
- Warehousing of final products
- Equipment and plant pre-start checks
- Containerizing of final product
- Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of the manufacturing execution system (MES)
- A current Forklift Licence
Desirable skills and experience:
- Reach stacker licence CN / experience is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of SAP systems is desirable but not essential
- Experience or exposure in emergency response team services.
