AddressAustralian Botanical Products (ABP), an IXOM brand, is a leading supplier of Essential Oils in Australia and New Zealand, with a growing presence in Asia. ABP has supplied essential oils, plant extracts and fragrances for use in a range of industries including cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food and flavour & fragrance. ABP is a TGA manufacturing facility offering contract manufacture and producing proprietary listed medicines for the domestic and export markets.
Expanding on Ixom’s established Keith Harris fragrance & flavour manufacturing and Bronson & Jacobs distribution businesses, ABP strengthens and grow Ixom’s specialised product portfolio, as well as local fragrance manufacturing capabilities, to open expanded customer markets.
Your role
We have a unique opportunity for a Packing & Filling Line Operator to join our Hallam Manufacturing site. We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking go-getter with a positive attitude to assist with the manufacture, batching, dilution, mixing and down packing of various chemicals and botanical products.
In this role, you will demonstrate the knowledge and experience you’ve gained in a manufacturing environment, such as preparing packaging, labelling, working with chemicals and operating machinery.
Your responsibilities
- Raw material collection and preparation
- Product labelling of various packaging sizes
- Washing and testing of product packaging
- Operation of automated and manually operated chemical mixing plants
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace to effectively manage hazards
- Working strictly to approved processes and procedures
Your skills & experience
- Similar experience working in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical TGA environment will be highly regarded
- Forklift experience will be beneficial but not essential
- Safety Focussed and mechanical mindset with Problem solving, mathematical skills
- Can demonstrate teamwork skills.
