About the Role

We are looking for a Packing Operator to join our Team at Northam. This is an entry-level role within our Flour Milling division. This role will work in accordance with a rotating roster shift pattern which includes a Morning and Afternoon shift.

This is a hands-on role where you will set up, troubleshoot, and optimise the line to meet set targets, KPI's and quality standards to ensure that our products are made to a high-quality standard in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.

This role will:

• Operating machinery safely and efficiently, according to Standard Operating
• Meeting quality and food safety policies and procedures
• Using appropriate PPE to work in a safe manner, following manual handling techniques and adhering to site safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in production when required to meet daily production targets.
• Ensure all daily packing shift reports are accurately completed.
• Continuous improvement focussed on safety, quality, service levels and cost.

• Interest in the milling and bakery business and wanting to learn a variety of skills.
• Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (BRC) would be an advantage.
