Cockburn Cement currently has an opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong decision-making ability to join the team at our Kwinana site in Western Australia in a permanent full time role on a weekly rotating roster, alternating morning and afternoon. Mornings 5:30am - 1:30pm, Afternoons 1:30pm - 9:30pm, Monday to Friday only.
Our Plant Operators safely and correctly operate Forklifts, Bulk Bagging Machine, Dry-Mix plant and packaging machines.

Responsibilities
- Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
- Maintain safe and correct execution of product sampling and testing
- Ensuring adequate stock holding is maintained across the operation in regard to consumables and finished products.
- Liaising with Customer service team to ensure customer orders are met.
- Undertake housekeeping, basic maintenance and general labour duties
- Report Incidents/hazards to the supervisor
What you will need to succeed
- High Risk Work Licence – LF
- SAP, LDMS & AMPLA experience desirable
- Demonstrated experience in operating mobile plant and/or heavy equipment
- Ability to operate state of the art high speed automated equipment.
- Safe and correct operation of a forklift to safely load packaged materials onto customer vehicles
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Strong commitment to health and safety
