Stepping Stones OT is seeking a playful, passionate, enthusiastic and family centred Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a Full-time, Part-time or casual basis.
If you're experienced that would be great and we are also interested in new graduates / new to paediatrics. Please apply as our team is excited to share our knowledge, support and expertise with the right OT.
We offer flexible working arrangements to suit your needs (including a 4 day working week). We offer all our OT's a diverse caseload, including the opportunity to visit local schools.
About Us:
We are a team of five energetic OT's, with passionate administrative staff, that has been serving the local community for 19 years. We provide a creative, inclusive and playful environment to support the children and their families in the best way we can.
Our practice has two clinic locations (Mount Pritchard and Wattle Grove) and is well know with other professions for the work we have done and the community we serve, helping the kids to be the best version of themselves. The clinics were custom built and designed by our Occupational Therapists with eight large sensory gyms, and a wide range of toys and therapeutic resources/programs. We provide clinic based and mobile school services within the local area.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- Recognised university qualifications in Occupational Therapy and current membership of AHPRA.
- High energy and playful.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working effectively with children with disabilities or developmental delays using a holistic family centred, goal focused approach.
- Proven ability to work independently, demonstrate problem solving skills, organisational skills and time management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to participation in supervision and professional development.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to use own car for community appointments.
