Language for Life Speech Pathology services is a busy multidisciplinary private practice offering speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics and psychology based in Melbourne & offers services to a paediatric and adult individuals across their local community. The practice prides itself on a reputation for delivering quality communication outcomes to clients & provide services under the NDIS.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver in clinic or mobile services to paediatric and/or adult individuals across their local community.
Tasks & responsibilities
Work with individuals, their families and their key stakeholders to develop individualised plans and services to clients
Develop holistic therapy plans within a multidisciplinary team and provide direct clinic-based intervention and support programs.
Qualifications & experience
Bachelor of Occupational Therapist (or equivalent)
Current membership with OT Australia
Eligibility for Medicare Provider status
NDIS Worker Screening Check
WWC Check
Current Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance (Certificate of Currency)
Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferable
Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
24 months experience working as a Speech Pathologist with a paediatric population (preferred)
