Established in 2014, Sydney Digital Marketing is looking for an experienced Paid Search (SEM) Manager, who is ready for the next big leap in their marketing career. Qualifications & experience
- Proven experience as a Paid Search Manager or similar role in a digital marketing agency.
- High Proficiency in Google & Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics (GA4) and other PPC tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit and fun collaborative team.
- Certification in Google Ads and Google Marketing Platform.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage Google & Microsoft Ads campaigns across a wide range of industries. Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience targeting to optimise campaign performance. Create compelling ad copy and review landing pages to enhance conversion rates.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, including key performance indicators such as CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROI. Generate detailed performance reports and provide actionable insights to clients. Utilise Google Analytics and other tools to track, measure and report campaign effectiveness.
- Allocate and manage advertising budgets effectively to maximise ROI. Perform regular budget pacing and bid adjustments to optimise spend.
- Continuously optimise campaigns through A/B testing, bid adjustments, and ad variations. Implement best practices for ad placement, targeting, and bidding strategies.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to discuss campaign progress and performance. Provide recommendations for campaign improvements and address client inquiries. Collaborate with internal teams, including account management, SEO, content, and design, to align strategies.
- Keep abreast of the latest Google Ads features, updates, and industry trends. Implement innovative strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Ensure all campaigns comply with Google Ads policies and guidelines. Conduct regular audits to maintain high-quality standards and avoid policy violations.
