Our manufacturing facility in Dandenong South includes state of the art machinery, hydraulic presses and fully automated production lines.
About The Role
Due to continued business growth, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Full-time Painter / Factory Hand – Assembly Line based at our plant in Dandenong South. This role would suit someone who has the ability to spray paint as well as work on the production floor as a Factory Hand on the Assembly Line. You may be required to work overtime during the week and on weekends mainly Saturdays for which you will be paid the applicable overtime rates.
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Prep and paint sectional, roller and custom garage doors
- Mix paints and use equipment safely
- Checking and assessing quality of spray coatings
- Sound knowledge in surface preparation
- Knowledge and experience of paint mixing and spraying techniques preferable
- Ability to use a spray gun / blaster
- Assembling a variety of garage doors
- Experience with basic hand tools
- Picking and packing of hardware
- Must be physically fit with the ability to carry a maximum of 20 kgs
- Willingness to learn new tasks
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude
- Committed to your work, highly organised and good communication skills
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace
- Adhoc tasks as required
What’s on Offer
- Commencement base hourly rate is $33.50 per hour plus super
- Shift timings Mon - Fri 6.00am – 2.30pm and 12.00pm – 8.30pm
The successful candidate will need to complete a National Police Check prior to any offer been made and the company will reimburse the cost.
