As our team continues to grow, an opportunity for a Painter has become available to work on an overnight basis.
As a member of our Engineering Hub, you will work across three hotels in Sydney CBD including Hyatt Regency Sydney, Swissôtel Sydney and West Hotel Sydney Curio Collection by Hilton. Your working hours will primarily reflect a Sunday to Thursday, 9PM to 5AM roster but this can change with business requirements.
Working under the direction of the Hub leaders, you will work to maintain and repair the front-of-house spaces including walls, floors, ceilings etc. Care is at the centre of all that we do, your talents and skills will contribute to the overall experience of our valued guests.

Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience working in a similar role
- Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or relevant qualifications
- Ticked to use an Elevated Work Platform or willing to undergo training
- The ability to work autonomously
- Passion and pride in delivering an excellent product
- Strong communication skills
- Be able to work Sunday to Thursday from 9PM to 5AM or as required.
- Hold full working rights in Australia
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure all painted surfaces in the front-of-house are in optimal condition throughout the premise
- Attend to tasks which may include repair/painting of all surface walls, floors, facades, ceilings and equipment as allocated
- Minor plastering patch work repairs
- Roller and brush spotting
- Minor wallpapering installation works
- Reporting on completed tasks
- Asset condition reporting
Conducting duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner at a high service standard
