Painting Manager

Classic Contractors is a well-established award-winning company within the West Australian painting industry. We deliver quality outcomes on commercial, residential, strata and luxury projects.

We are looking for a Painting Manager who wants to make a long-term career with a privately owned, family company that rewards its staff well and operates within a culture of excellence. Applicants must have at least five years’ experience with a proven track record of successfully dealing with projects from start to finish.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing operational delivery including budgeting, ongoing job monitoring and reporting of all projects.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
• Ensuring each project is completed within budget, on time and in accordance with contract requirements and safety standards.
• Overseeing the performance of all divisional team members 
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. 

   Essential criteria include:

• 5+ years of experience in the painting industry.
• Trade qualified with commercial painting experience.
• Strong painting industry knowledge including products and applications.
• Strong, successful relationship and leadership skills.
• Must be confident with a can-do attitude and have strength in dealing with conflict when it arises. 
• Proficient IT skills.
• Construction induction training card (white card).
• Manual drivers’ licence.

 Desirable criteria include:

• EWP High Risk licence. 
• Forklift licence.
