Painting Trades Worker

We offer a full-range of services which is why we are looking for a full-time, permanent Painting Trades Worker to join our team. You will be responsible for the painting and finishes of all our bespoke designs, working and liaising with our team and our clients to achieve desired outcomes. 

Your role will require you to: 

• Liaise with the team and with the client to select paints, wallpapers, finishes for designs, recommending products, treatments and processes 
• Preparing surfaces and areas for paint, prioritising safety and efficacy. Preparation includes sanding and sealing surfaces; preparing area for painting with painter’s tape and protective sheeting 
• Mixing paints to achieve desired look, colours and textures; adding thinners and products to change finish or look 
• Applying paints using a variety of techniques, selecting best technique for the area 
• Hanging wallpaper using rollers and brushes to apply adhesive, cutting wallpaper to accurate size
• Applying varnishes and finishes to achieve desired finish and look 
• Maintain a clean workspace at all times, tidying any scaffolding and ladders, cleaning brushes and equipment
• Consult with client and team over finished product, rectifying anything necessary

You will be: 

• Experienced and able to work independently or in a team 
• Communicative and able to liaise with clients and represent the company 
• Organised and hard-working 

This position will require travel around the Sydney area. This is a full-time, permanent position. You must have full-time availability. We are offering $80 - $85k p.a. depending on your experience and suitability.
