Form of workExpanding local business who manufactures and assembles timber pallets is seeking 2 x Pallet manufacturers/ machine operators to work in the factory.
Duties include:
- Manufacture of new pallets
- Operation of various machines and equipment including pallet auto-nailing machine, nail gun, docking saw, multi-rip saw and others.
- Manual handling of materials, equipment and finished products.
- Maintenance of all workstations to keep work areas clean and safe during a shift.
To be successful we require you to:
- Be reliable and hard-working.
- Be physically fit and able to work in a high-paced environment.
- Have a positive attitude and can work both individually and as part of a team.
- A current forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience working with nail guns and saws is also desirable, but not necessary.
This position is for an immediate start and we have part-time and casual roles (20-30hrs per week) with AM or PM shifts or the possibility for full-time for the right candidate(s).
