Your Role:
At Vinnies (NSW) we are reshaping our property team to deliver on our strategic goals, and to deliver growth in our mission and good works. We have created four new lead roles in the property team to enable this objective - one of these new roles is Senior Facilities Manager. As the Senior Facilities Manager, you will lead the facilities management team state-wide across a property portfolio that includes retail, industrial, office and residential accommodation, supported by an in-house team and external service providers.

Your Responsibility:
- Ensure property portfolio is maintained through planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Through team leadership and stakeholder engagement, manage the team across the state, offering support and mentorship, liaising with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with multi-trade contractors used across the portfolio, ensure delivery is in line with quality and budget.
- Manage service agreements, related to the maintenance and upkeep of assets and infrastructure, encompassing a wide range of services.
- Monthly reporting, prepare forecasts and contribute to business plan for long-term life-cycle maintenance, and manage the budget.
- Provide comprehensive facilities management, contract oversight and financial management.
- Ensure property management documents adhere to company policies and preparation of facility management reports.
You Will Need:
- Proven work experience in facilities management in similar environment.
- A thorough understanding of property legislations and compliance.
- Strong negotiation skills with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Experience in managing a team of facilities management, support and maintenance staff providing clear goals, direction and timescales to ensure their effective achievement of objectives.
- An excellent communicator, you will provide clear and concise instructions, and undertake internal and external stakeholder interface.
- Personal commitment and drive to ensure a continuous programme of best practice, innovation, business optimisation, and industry leadership.
- Tertiary qualification in property management or related field will be highly regarded.
