The role involves liaising, supporting, advising, and working with Body Corporate committees and providing facilities management support to all properties.
Key Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
- Oversee facilities operations, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections, to ensure buildings are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, negotiating agreements and monitoring service levels to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, including health and safety requirements.
- Ensure all reactive and preventative maintenance is executed safely, promptly and with minimal disruption.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Assisting with OPEX and CAPEX budgets and forecasting.
- Contract and Project Management.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum 5 years previous experience in Facilities management, preferably within high rise residential buildings.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Strong understanding of Strata legislation in QLD & other states.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organisational and computer skills.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing teams and projects.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to attend meetings outside of business hours.
