First State Conveyancing is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal to join the team at our successful Newcastle based office located in Wallsend, with an immediate start available.
As the ideal applicant, you will have a proficient understanding of residential and commercial conveyancing principles and practices, and experience previously working in a paralegal or similar type role.
To undertake this role, the following essential criteria will apply:
- Minimum 3 years experience working in conveyancing or property law industry
- Demonstrated abilities to work in a very fast-paced corporate environment
- Possess strong client based service and communication skills
- Competency undertaking assistant tasks and managing files from post-exchange to settlement
- Excellent organisational skills including attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet required deadlines
- Experience with PEXA and knowledge of TriConvey is an advantage
- A friendly, positive and resilient attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
