The Position:
We are seeking applications from Paralegals or Law Clerks to join its Planning and Environment team in its Underwood office.
The position offered is on a full-time basis. While long-established to support flexible-working arrangements as needed, the position is generally on-site and working in our newly renovated office facility located just off the Pacific Highway. Parking is available on-site.
The successful candidate will:
- Learn from experienced senior practitioners.
- Assisting the team on a range of property, planning and environment related issues.
- Assist in the Conduct of litigation matters in the Planning and Environment Court, Land Court and Magistrates Court.
- Assisting the team Manage client relationships and the day to day conduct of matters.
- Possess strong technical and drafting skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be highly motivated and have effective attention to detail.
- Drafting and preparing briefs to barristers & experts.
About you:
We are looking for a Paralegal or Law Clerk to assist the practice in the area of planning and environment law. Ideally applicants will have some experience working in this area of the law, but it not a requirement for the position. being highly motivated and resilient, hold strategic thinking capabilities, be a team player with the ability to build relationships with clients and other members of our team.
