Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Paraplanner. As a Paraplanner, you will work closely with our financial advisors to assist in developing and implementing comprehensive financial plans for our clients. Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports to support our advisors in delivering tailored financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of the client's financial situation, including income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and investment portfolios.
Research: Utilize various financial planning tools and resources to gather information and evaluate potential strategies and products suitable for clients' needs and objectives.
Plan Development: Assist in the development of comprehensive financial plans based on client goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.
Report Preparation: Prepare detailed financial reports, including cash flow projections, investment analyses, retirement planning assessments, and risk management recommendations.
Client Interaction: Collaborate with financial advisors to communicate financial strategies and recommendations to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
Compliance: Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in financial planning techniques to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Previous experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a similar role preferred.
- Proficiency in financial planning software and tools (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, Morningstar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or progress towards obtaining certification is a plus.
