The Role

Reporting to the Directors, this role is seeking a Senior Paraplanner/Advice Manager who can oversee and lead their paraplanning team including compliance and operations to let the Financial Planning team get on doing what they do best.

To be successful in this role you must have worked within Financial Planning and have a high level of strategic and technical knowledge.  In order to proceed in this role you will need to ensure you have had experience with:

• Preparation of complex and strategic SOA's and reviews of advice documents
• Guiding, coaching, mentoring other staff when necessary
• Participate in Investment Committee meetings
• Ensure the compliance updates are implemented within the business as they come through
• Ensuring compliance and all legislative requirements are met and continually strengthening these areas of the business
• Conduct research, utilise XPlan and be able to prepare long term modelling projections
• SAbility to work at a highly strategic level working with Trusts, Family Trusts, SMSF, Companies and other more technical strategies
• Ability to operate within a compliant and administrative framework
• A can-do attitude and willingness to go above and beyond
• Ensure all deadlines and time frames are appropriately managed
• Excellent verbal, written and relationship skills

About You

You will be a team player and will primarily have the ability to engage really well with all employees at all levels of the business to ensure the ongoing success of the business. 

To be considered in this role you will require:

• 5 years + in a Snr Paraplanning/Advice Manager role with a high level of technical competency
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Advanced knowledge of Xplan is essential
• Goal and outcome orientated
• Excellent communication and relationship skills; and
• Computer literate
