Care Park Group is currently recruiting for a Parking Enforcement Officerin Newcastle.
About the role:
The primary role will include (but is not limited to):
- Casual position - working 1 day per week (5 hours in total) plus (Sickness/ Leave coverage)
- Patrol an assigned route of parking lot facilities to identify and cite vehicles in breach of contract.
- Provision of effective and efficient maintenance for equipment malfunctions as required.
- Respond to any parking or equipment issues as relayed by the Control Room and/or Supervisors. Maintenance issues to the Operations Supervisor and other nominated personnel as instructed by Care Park.
- Operate on-board and hand-held license plate recognition operating systems and perform minor maintenance on said systems.
- Perform field observations with respect to occupancy.
- Perform cleaning duties to a high standard to maintain a good representation of the Care Park brand and to ensure that the car park is a safe environment for all customers.
- Conduct Car park Patrols and issue infringement notices to non-compliant customers.
About you:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Well-spoken with clear communication skills and the ability to relate to people from all backgrounds.
- Professional and hygienic personal presentation
- Energetic, pro-active, and confident with high reliability and punctuality
- A current and Unrestricted NSW Manual Driver’s license.
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Previous car parking experience in similar roles
