DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Grounds Work
Establish and maintain high quality grounds using a wide variety of garden machinery in a safe manner.
Competent with the use a wide variety of garden machinery in a safe manner.
Maintenance of all grassed/turfed areas and Gardens, including mowing, pruning, edging, irrigation, fertilising, chemical spraying, renovation and mulching.
Cleaning of path and road ways, gutters, pits, drains, around buildings and synthetic sport surfaces.
Assist in the planning, design, construction and ongoing maintenance of landscaping projects.
Maintenance and upkeep of the general grounds and Gardens, including ovals, gardens, pool, roadways etc.
Assist with clearing debris such as branches or litter.
Assist with ensuring automatic sprinkler equipment is correctly programmed and functional.
Child Safety
Be familiar with and comply with the College Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct, and any other policies or procedures relating to child safety.
Assist in the provision of a child safe environment for students.
Demonstrate duty of care to students in relation to the physical and mental wellbeing.
General Duties
Contribute to a healthy and safe environment for yourself and others and comply with all safe work policies and procedures.
Attend school meetings and after school services/assemblies, sporting events, mass, community and faith days as required by the Principal.
Demonstrate professional and collegiate relationships with colleagues.
Other duties as directed by the Principal.

SALARY
As the successful candidate, you will receive:
$21,500 – $30,000 plus 11% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification

- People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
- This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
