The Opportunity:

This is a leadership role, responsible for the health, safety, and wellbeing of all maintenance employees as well as ensuring compliance with all internal and external policies and standards. Continuous improvement and the ongoing development of your team will be key to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team who work on a rotating roster providing coverage 24 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, scheduling work and managing breakdowns, maintenance, and improvement projects.
• Be present and, on the floor, hands on and leading from the front. There is a process improvement element to this position which you will manage and oversee as well.
• Work ‘Day Shift’ and engaging closely with machine services, maintenance, dispatch, and scheduling. You will manage day-to-day site electrical maintenance requirements.
• Manage consumables, purchase requirements, escalate any nonconformities and issues that arise. Manage the workload of the electrical maintenance team.
• Oversight of safety standards, procedures and processes, planning, standards and controls, workforce planning and any technical requirements.

What you will bring to the team:

• Hold a current unrestricted A class electrical license.
• Previous experience leading a team in a fixed plant and/or manufacturing environment.
• An ability to read electrical schematics/drawings together with PLC & VSD experience.
• An analytical mindset, keenly focussed on process and continuous improvement.
• Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment while maintaining the required safety standards.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a “get the job done” approach every day.
