Dental receptionist position available to join our friendly team
A permanent part-time role within a busy family-orientated dental clinic based in Mildura.
Duties include:
- Welcoming, greeting and checking patients in upon arrival to the practice.
- Scheduling appointments and managing the office calendar.
- Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries from patients.
- Maintaining patient records and updating information as needed.
- General administrative tasks such as filing, emailing, photocopying.
- Communicating with patients and dental staff to coordinate patient care and appointments.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the Reception; oversee patient care, and ensure patients are well cared for
- Validating payment methods and collecting payments
- Tidying office workspaces
You will need:
- Knowledge and/or experience of the dental industry.
- Experience as a receptionist.
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and respectfully with patients, other clinical team members and people of all ages and backgrounds generally.
- Ability to handle payments and reconcile at day end.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A team player with the ability to take initiative.
- A desire to learn and help people.
- Experience within the dental industry and an understanding of a dental software would be a clear advantage.
- Exceptional Phone manner, grooming and personal presentation.
The suitable candidate will be:
- Team player, have excellent phone manners, polite, honest and caring.
- Willing to learn, follow instructions and adhere to policies.
- Good computer skills and preferably experience in Dental software.
- Must be able to work permanently.
Salary will depend on experience and qualifications.
