Based in Subiaco, Western General Surgery work as a comprehensive team and cover all aspects of acute care surgery. They have an extensive training and experience in a complex care environment, looking after critical patients. They have access to regular scheduled surgical lists as well as emergency theatre availability.

Their team of surgeons participate in RACS continuing professional development, keep abreast of current literature and aim to provide the most up to date care possible.

We are currently looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist to join their team.

We are looking for someone to join our team as our Medical Receptionist Someone who is motivated, friendly and passionate about healthcare.

It is Part Time role,  The daily schedule is from 8.30 am - 4.30 pm (Monday to Thursday) available to cover Friday if need be (preferable) 

Day to day duties (not limited to)

Checking Gentu for incoming referrals
Organising patient registration forms
Meet and greet patients
Collect patient clinic payments and submit to Medicare
Liaising with other medical staff or other medical health professionals

Organising future appointments and any future testing

Seeking any medical reports
General admin duties including scanning and faxing

Competence in aspects of office administration and computer skills. Gentu experience (preferable)

Able to multitask
Good communication skills
Have an interest in medical field (preferable)
