We are currently recruiting for the part time position of People and Culture Business Partner. The role is offered at 22.8 hours per week (3 days).
This exciting opportunity will appeal to experienced People and Culture professionals who want to develop for the next step, by building their experience across the full range of People and Culture services. This role truly has it all!
You will report to, and work in partnership with, the Principal Advisor to provide advice and support for staff satisfaction and engagement, workforce planning, succession management, recruitment, leadership development, learning and development, employee and industrial relations, organisational development, performance management and remuneration and benefits.
You will also play a leadership role as the in-house expert on our new learning management system and in managing the fortnightly pay cycle with our payroll provider.
To be successful in this role you will have well-developed interpersonal skills, be flexible and able to meet deadlines. You will have the desire to perform the role with the highest level of professionalism and integrity, always representing the organisation in a positive light.
You will be self-motivated, amiable, honest and approachable; a pro-active attitude is a must.
About you
As the P&C Business Partner you have responsibility for providing expert advice and assisting stakeholders on matters covering the full employee life-cycle.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and/or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of relevant State and Federal legislation in relation to equal employment, diversity, human rights, industrial relations and discrimination
- Sound knowledge of contemporary HR issues and developments with the ability to interpret complex information and make recommendations for action
- Highly developed verbal and written communications skills.
- Familiarity with a range of HR information systems including payroll and learning management
Work environment
You will work out of our headquarters in North Geelong – at the awarding winning Federal Mills – and in a unique overwater office at Station Pier when at our Port Melbourne location! We are flexible in terms of how you spread your hours, your days and your work location, including options to work from home as part of a planned approach.

Salary Information
The position has a pro-rata salary range of $73,276 to $81,203 (up to $135K Full time equivalent) based on working 22.8 hours per week.
