Veritus Research is looking for a People & Culture Business Partner for our state of the art clinical trials facility in Bayswater. While initial part time, 3 days a week, we anticipate the role will grow as the business expands
The People & Culture Business Partner will use their HR expertise to guarantee our company continues to invest in and support our people, to enhance a culture sought after by potential employees and envied by other employers.

To be successful in the role you will:
• Participate in strategic workforce planning, identifying how to attract and retain required talent
• Support CEO and Executive team in establishing new sites, including but not limited to change and communications planning and execution and site set up to ensure employee experience is positive
• Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy
• Liaise with Payroll to track staff movements within business and changes of terms and conditions of employment.
• Ensure HR policies are regularly reviewed and updated and align with Award and Fair Work Australia requirements
• Create, revise and refresh internal recruitment practices, processes, templates and ways of working
• Provide monthly reports as requested by the CEO
• Manage any required legislative reporting (eg WGEA) as required
• Ensure Employment Agreements are compliant and mutually agreeable between employer and employee
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
• Develop and roll out internal training for managers on legal compliance
• Implement strategies to ensure staff embrace the company’s vision, mission and values
• Develop programs for staff engagement to ensure staff satisfaction
• Provide exceptional staff development for our leaders to ensure succession planning is in place for all key roles within the business
• Provide managers with resources to assist with the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.

Professional Background
• Post-secondary qualifications in HR related field (preferred)
• 5+ years HR experience, working in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Sound understanding of current employee relations legislation
• Solid knowledge of HR practices, standards and statutory requirements and workforce planning
• Strong proficiency in HR disciplines such as leadership development, training & development, remuneration, and recruitment
• Ability to coach leaders at all levels on conflict management, motivating employees and ensuring a positive & harmonious work environment
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills across all levels
• Previous experience implementing Employment Hero HRIS is desirable
