About the role
Reporting the Senior Manager, P&C Business Partnering, this position will partner with Executive Team members and their Leadership teams to provide operational and strategic advice, support and guidance to our people leaders and employees. This is an internal consultancy role that focuses on identifying opportunities to support DV teams deliver on our strategic objectives.
Core Accountabilities:
- Provide effective strategic advice, guidance, support and coaching to the Executive team, Senior Leaders and people leaders to support the achievement of the DV priorities.
- Broker solutions to solve people and performance challenges that impact business outcomes.
- Support a range of organisational realignment activities ensuring agreed organisational design and change management principles are being followed by the business.
- In collaboration with the business, identify gaps and determine, prioritise, evaluate and recommend appropriate solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
- Provide appropriate advice and guidance on employee and industrial relations to mitigate risk and demonstrate balanced advocacy
- Manage ER cases end to end within designated functions referring to Senior Manager P&C Operations and external legal advice to escalate as needed.
- Contribute to a range of strategic and operational HR initiatives in line with DV’s Strategic People Roadmap
- Contribute to key policy and procedure decisions and support the development of key resources/materials to support the HR employee lifecycle and to meet legal obligations
- Consult with business leaders and others across the organisation to address employee engagement matters and support the formulation of proactive and targeted solutions.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of talent within the business and partner with business leaders to stay abreast of employees’ aims to support their readiness for career progression.
- Leverage P&C metrics and analysis to support management decision making in allocated areas
- Support and contribute to the development and delivery of other HR programs, initiatives and cyclical activities including succession planning, development and performance planning, and the annual remuneration review.
- Working across the P&C team and leveraging the Centers of Excellence, this is a key role in the implementation and delivery of a full range of high-quality HR services.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or Business discipline preferred
- Experience in HR Generalist and senior Business Partnering roles with exposure to all aspects of the employee lifecycle
- Significant experience working with complex employee related matters and managing own case load end to end
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and supporting managers
- Contribution to development and implementation of HR Strategic plans
- Experience in organisational change
