Part Time Physiotherapist

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Physiotherapist to join a reputable organisation providing services to individuals enrolled in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The successful candidate will work with a varied caseload, offering high-quality physiotherapy services. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities while collaborating within a supportive and multidisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' physical abilities and needs.
• Developing individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and in consultation with clients, their families, and other team members.
• Providing evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve clients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall functional abilities.
• Monitoring clients' progress regularly and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educating clients, their families, and caregivers on safe and effective techniques for managing physical impairments and promoting independence.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.
• Collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and achieve holistic outcomes for clients.
• Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and Genral registration with AHPRA
• Clinical experience working as a physiotherapist, preferably with experience in disability services or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and treat a diverse caseload of clients with varying physical and cognitive disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and professional development.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Understanding of and commitment to the principles of person-centered care and the rights of people with disabilities.
