Balmain Physiotherapy by Sydney Allied Health Group is a well established Allied Health clinic that focus on delivering physiotherapy, exercise physiology, optometry and podiatry services. We are conveniently located in the heart of Balmain, close to public transport and minutes away from the Sydney CBD. Sydney Allied is passionate about assisting clients to enhance and minimise their pain and discomfort by delivering patient-orientated services with a holistic approach to their health.

The Role

Part-Time/Casual Medical Receptionist: Available for a minimum of 3 days per week, and must be flexible to stand in for holiday/sick leave if required. Could be required to work for 4 hours on Saturdays when needed.

Selection Criteria:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role 
• Available on Thursdays and Fridays
• Experience or interest within the health industry
• Flexible with work schedule
• Demonstrate strong customer service and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Polite and professional phone etiquette, you need to be able to manage patients face to face, and juggle the phone simultaneously.
• Ability to forward plan, prioritise and anticipate tasks that need to be done, and analyse workload appropriately.
• Able to assist the Director and Practice Manager on additional tasks
• Professional and well presented at all times
• Able to maintain the cleanliness of the clinic and treatment rooms.
• Highly motivated and positive
   

Technical Skills Required:

• Excellency in Google Suite (Google sheets, docs, GDrive and Gmail interfaces)
• Excellency in iMac/Apple Operating Software
• Experience using Practice Management software (preferably Nookal and Optomate)
• Excellency in time management and multitasking
