About the Role:
This a full-time position which will require you to work a 5-day rotating roster during the team’s hours of operation. Working closely with the National Customer Service Manager, you will take pride in delivering exceptional customer service to develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Role Responsibilities:
- Interact with our customers over the phone and email to manage quotes and queries
- Follow-up on quotations and inquiries, and convert these into sales opportunities
- Be comfortable liaising and building relationships with customers and have the capability to communicate in both a technical and non-technical manner
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including production, marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, and delivery timetable
- Generate new and repeated sales by responding to business enquiries, providing service information and quotations in a timely manner
- Present prices and terms in accordance within company policy
- Proactively recommend products to customers, up sell and cross sell products to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Experience working in a customer service environment
- Background in parts interpreting/selling aftermarket products is preferred
- High attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Sound time management skills
- Basic knowledge with Microsoft office and a willingness to undergo relevant training
- Proactive and driven individual with solid mechanical and/or parts experience (beyond retail)
- Be willing to pitch in and help where needed
- Hold a valid Australian driver's license to assist with deliveries from time to time
- Have a passion for the automotive/manufacturing industry
