We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our hard working and motivated team in Strathalbyn.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your number one responsibility will be to provide an excellent service to our mechanical workshop team, ensuring they receive accurate and timely information in relation to all of their parts needs.
This is a full time, permanent position offering career growth and development opportunities. Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, you will work Monday to Friday and be required to participate in a Saturday morning roster with some after-hours support (shared between the team).
What a day typical day will look like:
- Dealing with our works technicians, both face to face and over the phone
- Locating, supplying and sourcing New Holland and alternate parts brands for our technicians, the workshop and our parts team.
- Following up and actioning outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns
- System based parts interpreting using a variety of digital and print resources
- Placing daily, weekly and monthly New Holland parts orders
- Stock monitoring
- Overseeing workshop tools and equipment used throughout the day
- Assist the team manage the Repair Order parts waiting area
- Assist with parts warehousing tasks (receiving, order picking and dispatch)
- Assist our Parts team stock monitoring requirements.
ABOUT YOU
You will have a true understanding of customer service, with a willingness and desire to support our teams fulfil their repair order needs. You are focused, with an ability to work through distractions, whilst possessing an eye for detail with a commitment to getting the job done right the first time.
To be successful in this role you will require the following skills and attributes:
- Mechanical knowledge with a desired background in agriculture, heavy equipment or an automotive background
- Strong communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Proficient keyboard skills with experience working on customer or dealer management systems/databases
- Well developed organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and follow up on outstanding actions
