Our client in the engineering industry is seeking a motivated and skilled Parts Interpreter
C&H Recruitment is currently seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join their successful team.In this role, you will play a critical part in our clients hydraulic and engineering works by effectively identifying and sourcing the right parts for our customers. - Interact with customers, both in person and over the phone, to determine parts requirements
- Utilise parts catalogues and electronic databases to accurately identify, locate, and source required parts
- Provide accurate price quotes and estimated delivery times to customers
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage stock levels and inventory control
- Resolve any parts-related issues or concerns promptly and professionally
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or similar role is preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge – pumps, cylinders, and hydraulics (highly advantageous)
- Familiarity with parts catalogues and computerised inventory systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
