What you’ll be doing:
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships
- Analyse existing/potential customer parts needs
- Provide accurate information and advice to customers and internal staff
- Assist with merchandising displays
- Participate in stocktakes
- Ensure the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Ability to work outside normal hours during peak seasons
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar role
- Proven ability to build professional relationships with clients and seek new parts sales opportunities
- Previous experience arranging freight and transport
- Proficient in parts merchandising, selling techniques and parts ordering software
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to multitask and prioritise
- Ability to interpret a technical diagram is desired
- While familiarity with construction machinery is desirable, a fast learner with enthusiasm for teamwork and sales will be looked upon favourably
