About the Role:
As an Educator / Child Care Worker you are expected to be an active member of the JK Team in Cairns. You will provide support in children’s learning by developing strong relationships guided by the JK Philosophy and policies and procedures.
Remuneration:
$60,000 – $75,000 per annum
About you:
- Hold a Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA approved qualification
- An understanding of the National Quality Framework which includes Gov regulations, the National Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Current Working with children check - Blue Card
- Current first Aid, Asthma& Anaphylaxis
Essential Criteria:
- You will have an appropriate qualification for the role; Diploma or Certificate III(or actively working towards as per ACECQA approved qualifications). Diploma qualified applicants will be highly regarded.
- A minimum of 12 months relevant work experience required.
- Experience in a genuine play based working environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to Early Childhood Education profession including high level of knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – and able to build strong relationships.
- Demonstrated experience in the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), Police Clearance, First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates.
