We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educators to join a friendly 2-3 year old room at an exceeding-rated centre in the Cheltenham/Sandringham area.

About the role

We seek to appoint two diploma-qualified Early childhood Educators to work alongside skilled educators in a supportive team environment. The successful applicant will work for an Exceeding rated service with the 2-3 year olds. The room is already over ratio, so these appointments will make it even better for everybody!

The centre provides a nurturing, positive culture that supports social and emotional wellbeing and a lifelong love for knowledge and learning. We have terrific outdoor environments with real tanbark,3 sand and leafy areas. The service is passionate about celebrating diversity and inclusive practices and making each day fun!  

The management team considers looking after the wellbeing of educators to be one of the most critical components of their jobs. They have even built an off-site staff retreat for everybody to enjoy when not on the floor. The retreat is a multi-level building with a gym, kitchen, lounge area, and a library. There is an entire level of learning resources and separate offices for planning time. It's a great place to unwind and take a break! 

About you:

•  A warm and friendly personality with a deep passion for achieving excellence in Early Childhood education and care
•  A completed ACECQA-approved Early Childhood related Diploma (or above)
• A year of experience working in a long daycare
•  Sound knowledge of the NQF, including the VEYLDF, EYLF, and NQS.
•  A confident communicator who is team-orientated.
•  Excellent programming, observation, and documentation skills
•  Working With Children Check (Employer)
• Ability to work to a rotating roster 07:30-6:00 pm
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Management (Requirement)
