About this role
This small, boutique architecture practice is located in Melbourne’s city-fringe. The studio works across both private and multi-residential projects and delivers timeless design that supports contemporary living. The team is on the look out for a talented Senior Project Architect who possesses local experience in running private and multi-residential projects through all stages. The successful Architect will be highly-skilled in Revit with strong documentation ability, and have a quality design aesthetic along with the initiative and drive to manage their own projects. Work closely with the Director in a tight-knit practice that offers significant opportunities for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects concurrently from design to completion
Work closely with the Director
Develop concept work into detailed design
Prepare accurate and thorough documentation
Manage clients, consultants and team members
Be involved with the whole gamut; the exterior and interior fit-out
Skills & Experience
Masters Degree in Architecture
Current ARBV Registration
Minimum 7+ years’ experience in the Australian industry, including high-end residential projects
High Revit proficiency
Experience in running projects across all phases
Broad knowledge of the planning process and BCA
Strong construction and technical knowledge
Commercial acumen
Proactive approach with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
