The role:
This rewarding opportunity will see you join St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney (SVPHS) located in Darlinghurst as a Pastoral Care Practitioner in our Mission department.

This role will be casual and will be pivotal in wholistic patient care.
You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with a dynamic heath care team to support the hospitals health care outcomes for patients.

Your skills and experience:

• A minimum of one (1) unit of Clinical Pastoral Education, or equivalent standard of tertiary qualifications, professional training and experience, e.g., degree in Theology, Counselling, Psychology, Religious Education or equivalent.

• Although it is a preferred that you be an Extraordinary Minister of Communion in your current parish or able to qualify to be an Extraordinary Minister in the Catholic Tradition it is not a requirement.

• Spiritual maturity and ability to appreciate differing value systems, beliefs and practices.

• Demonstrated capacity for effective teamwork with the ability to motivate self and others.

• Willing to uphold the core values of St Vincent’s Health Australia.

St Vincent's Private Hospital Support Services EBA Classification Level 6 plus salary packaging + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances
