About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and talented chefs who strives in exceeding guests expectations and wants to join a team that priorities diversity, inclusion in a professional and fun working environmentAs a Commis Chef in the Pastry Department, you will be responsible to prepare consistent , high quality pastry items as per the departments operating concept and Hyatt standards.
Some of the responsibilities include- Assisting in preparing pastry products.
- Working in the Pastry Kitchen which services both our Promenade Café, Tea Lounge
- To maintain the assigned station / section in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
Qualifications:A successful candidate will have:- Minimum 1 years work experience
- Experience in luxury international brands, highly regarded
- Qualification in Commercial Cookery/Patisserie
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
- A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment
