About the role
We are seeking casual Collectors to join our dedicated team within Gold Coast, QLD and Tweed Heads, NSW. These positions will suit self-motivated individuals with a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
Specific duties include;
- Collection of blood and other samples from patients
- Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens
- Attend to paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct in a timely manner.
Skills and experience;
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience
- Exceptional customer service skills both in person and over the telephone
- Exceptional time management skills
- Sound clinical knowledge.
- A current Driver's License
- Ability to communicate effectively with the collections team, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work alone and participate in weekday and weekend shifts across any of our collection centres.
- Computer skills
- Rights to work in Australia.
