About the role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Regional Manager to manage 13 high volume stores throughout the Western Suburbs and regional locations
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and implement customer service strategies to improve store performance and facilitate resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance and maximise Net profit
- Maximise return from promotional activities by ensuring planning and compliance
- Report on regional financial and operational performance identifying and actioning significant budget variations or issues
- Monitor store stock management including margin management, stock levels, turnover, and shrinkage.
- Oversee and provide direction on staffing levels to achieve business outcomes
- Provide leadership, support and direction for the overall management of stores, including overseeing the effective utilisation of assets and resources.
- Identify and report any incidents, hazards, or unsafe practices and action any corrective actions from the Risk Management Department Audits, incident investigations and workplace inspection checklists
About You
- Must have demonstrated experience in big box retail sales and customer service
- Must have established experience in a senior leadership role
- Demonstrated business management success
- Strong transactional / POS / cash management/ retail financials experience
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- A positive attitude and passion for retail
