ABOUT THE POSITION:

Join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Brisbane team as Administration Officer in our Patient Administration Services department at our spectacular Kangaroo Point location. This is a casual position, working approx. 22.5 hours per week and will be pivotal role in contributing to the exceptional patient experience we provide.

You will bring your passion to the position where you will work across various specialities within the Hospital, including reception and patient admissions. A snapshot of your duties would include:

  • Hospital Reception operations - ensure calls are answered in an appropriate manner and all callers are treated in a polite and courteous manner
  • Complete admission process, including paperwork and data entry via Patient Administration System
  • Administrative duties include scanning, filing, photocopying, uploading documents to patient files, record-keeping
  • Supporting our clinical team with administrative duties in providing services to our patients.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on integrity, efficiency, and accuracy; and
  • Good computer skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.

St Vincent's Private Hospital Brisbane is a private Catholic not-for-profit hospital specialising in healthcare for people with chronic, complex, and multiple health needs. REMUNERATION:

[EBA based role] The position of Patient Administration Officer, in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Classification/Grade with a base remuneration of: $30.98 + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
