Form of workThe Far North Day Hospital (FNDH) is seeking a Patient Administration Officer to work as part of a fast-paced, high performing team, delivering quality administrative support to FNDH. The role works closely with clinical staff and to ensure customer focussed service to patients and carers. The role also includes a range of support services to all aspects of the organisation.
This position includes preparing and processing patient pre-admissions, admissions and discharges, data entry, assisting with billings, reception and administrative tasks.
The Patient Adminstration Officer will work closely with the Director of Nursing building and maintaining strong relationships with medical clinics and clinical staff.
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with people skills and whilst health service experience would be great, we are interested in hearing from individuals who would like to pursue a roll in medical administration. What we're really looking for is someone who is willing to step up, learn, and can work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
