We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Patient Liaison Officer. This is a Full Time ongoing position based at our City Campus in Parkville, reporting to Patient Liaison Manager.

Your new role:
- Partner with clinical teams, health information services and wider revenue services team to maintain data integrity
- You will empower patients through informed financial consent
- You will collaborate effectively with patients, families and colleagues to achieve revenue goals and maintain a positive patient experience.
- Identify and pursue cost recovery for Medicare Ineligible patients in accordance with Melbourne Health policies and informed financial consent
- You will be available to work weekends as required
About you:
You will be a proactive individual with great communication skills. You can work in a fast paced environment, delivering on timeframes and KPIs to support the Revenue Services department to deliver results and success.
Key skills include:
- You will be able to build rapport and effectively communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds, including overseas visitors, to navigate their financial obligations
- Ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds with empathy and respect
- You are a quick learner and motivated to achieve high standards
