Hotel Services at Southern Adelaide Local Health Network is dedicated to providing the highest level of quality service in healthcare. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Services Assistant to join our team.
About the Role:
As the Patient Services Assistant, you will be responsible for undertaking agreed daily work routines and methods as documented in order to deliver quality hotel support services. To achieve this, you will undertake combination of tasks that are identified in level 2 and 3 activity schedules in the South Australian Government Health Etc. Ancillary Employees Award.
Our Patient Services Assistants work across a rotating 24/7 roster undertake a diverse range of work including:
- Keeping our health sites clean & hygienic in line with infection control measures by cleaning and removing waste to an agreed work schedule,
- Delivery of meals to patients
- Transporting of patients using mobile equipment.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a healthcare or Patient Services role.
- Knowledge of relevant legislative and WHS requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
