Patient Services AssistantPerioperativePart-TimeAdelaide Community Healthcare Alliance Incorporated, known as ACHA Health, is one of the largest private not-for-profit hospital groups in South Australia. ACHA Health comprises Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital. Flinders Private Hospital is seeking an experienced theatre PSA to join the peri-operative team. This position will work in collaboration with nursing staff to provide safe and quality patient care by assisting with patient transport as well as turning over theatres and Preparing for next case. The Flinders Private operating suite is comprised of 9 theatres and operates electively over a 6-day week. Key responsibilities:Lead by example, demonstrating the values of ACHA and Flinders PrivateAssist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care dutiesGreet all patients/visitors/guests within the hospital with a friendly demeanour and answer enquiriesGoing above and beyond with caring for our patientsComply with site WHS policy, infection control standards and policy and proceduresEssential Criteria:Preferable - minimum 1 year PSA experienceProven communication and interpersonal skillsGood time management skills and attention to detailGood understanding of manual handling techniques and patient safetyAbility to liaise with key stakeholders and customersWorking with Children checkWe acknowledge the traditional custodians of the Adelaide region - the Kaurna people.
