Patient Support Assistant Wards

Hedland Health Campus are seeking motivated Patient Support Assistants to join their Hotel Services team.

 This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent, Fixed Term and Casual appointments at various hours per fortnight. Fixed Term contracts include the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2024.

This role assists with a range of Patient Support services as directed by Coordinator Patient Support Services and members of the nursing team. 

The Patient Support Assistant is responsible for:

• Cleaning Routines
• Direct Patient Assistance
• Meal Distribution within the unit in accordance with service standards and duty statements.
